Bourgeois Buffoon
I made a little snow sculpture today. Nothing as elaborate as the one I made last year, but here it is. (Link to the Calvin and Hobbes strip that it’s from.)
Here’s a bonus picture from a balloon shenanigan we had today.

HistorySo I am looking at your head (smiley face) and I wondered— Why so blue… Isn’t this an oxymoron, i.e., a “blue” happy face? G.Pa.

HistoryThe general used his my military intelligence to look for his jumbo shrimp, which, along with his fat-free cream, turned up missing in his organized mess. I think the shrimp company owes him a free gift.
Hear me now, listen to me later.

HistoryYesterday it got into the 50s, so he’s basically a mound now. I think it’s pretty hilarious how it’s been below freezing the entire time I’ve been back so far, except yesterday and the day I built. Today it went directly back down to a high of 25, a low in I think the single digits, and winds steadily blowing at probably 30 mph to bring the windchill to -15. So, he’s a solid mound.

HistoryWe had the same 2 warm days in the 50’s. Then the front that passed you passed over us last night. The winds sounded like a typhoon. Lots of things got blown over around here, and some places had thunderstorms. Then- back to the cold for us, too. Really no snow to speak of from it though we had a few flurries after the rain and thunder.

HistoryCongratulations on making the dean’s list. Evidently all that hard work paid off. Keep it up. You could probably use some more gingersnaps to give you study energy, couldn’t you? Grandma

HistoryI’m on the Dean’s List? Wow. I swear, this is the first word I’ve heard of it. How did you find out? That seems like the kind of thing they’d email me about. (Maybe they did; I get a ton of emails and I may have missed one or two.)
I did know that my GPA is 3.675, but I didn’t know that entailed a listing.

HistoryP. S. Ginger snaps equals yes.
